Hello Lovely Backpackers!

After 20 sucessesfull years the hostel is having building works to renev and rejuventate our lovely home. We are staying open for this time, just smaller.

We have set up a full temporary kitchen and a warm cosy common room. Although there is disruption to normal hostel life, we have and will always continue to, provide a warm friendly and chilled place to stay.

For this period special rates of 2500 Huf/person for a big dorm bed and 4000 Huf/person for a double room bed will apply.

The hostel will reopen on the 12th of may 2012 with a big big party where everybody is more than welcome to celebrate with us the 20th birthday of the reborned Backpack Guesthouse!!! :))

We've always loved this laid-back hostel - Budapest first! - in a colorfully painted suburbain ' villa' in the south Buda and we are happy to see more and more hostels are copying its style.
